Crocheted Chevron Blanket

Crocheted Chevron Blanket

Tonight I’m going to my friend Andrea’s for a nerding out ladies crochet/craft night so I thought that it would be a good opportunity to show off this chevron blanket that I recently crocheted. I found the pattern called Seafarer’s Blanket on the Michael’s website. I am not normally a fan of blue but I loved the ombre of colours in this blanket. Naturally, I could not find all of the suggested colours that were in the pattern so I improvised. As you probably already know, I am not a fan of big projects because I just like to get things done. However, this project seemed to break up with each colour which made it a lot more enjoyable to create. I think that it turned out pretty great and this beauty now resides at my Mom’s house. She is always making things for others so I thought that it would be nice to make something for her.

  1. I was so surprised to get the blanket. Jessica did a wonderful job and it now hangs on my living room chair ready for action….. and I might say it has been used several times….. nice to cozy up to something warm and made with love…. thank you Jessica…
