Last night was a jam-packed one. But t’is the season, no?! Gloria and I successfully hit up three events that were happening in the rainy city of Toronto. First up was the Philip Sparks show in the stunning Burroughes Building. I loved the feel of the collection, the colours, the fit. Loved it all. I also loved all of the “photographers” there as well. Everyone really is one these days, aren’t they?
After the Sparks, we headed to experience Canada Goose. I must admit, I did not know anything about their jackets, other than the fact that every guy on the streets of Toronto seems to be sporting one in the winter months. I was pleasantly surprised with what I learned. We were given a tour of all their styles, told about how awesome the company and products are plus we got to try on the jackets. Seriously, if you are in the market for a new winter coat, you must look into Canada Goose. They’re Canadian, they’re quality products and the people who work there seem to love it. (Plus they gave us a snow globe containing a photo of us wearing a jacket – too cute!)
We ended the night at the Drake for the Air Canada enRoute Film Festival awards celebration. Admittedly, we missed the film screenings that took place beforehand at the Scotiabank Theatre (hey, we had to hit the other two events!) which was too bad. But this just means we will have to book a flight with Air Canada to view them asap! The celebration was great, the winners seemed worthy and the mac & cheese was heavenly.
